Re: Paul Hartley - Ham Shank

His ability can't really be questioned as far as Scottish football is concerned, he's done well at all the clubs he's been at. I'll never forget his performance against the French away where he was absolutely brilliant.

Re: Gordon v McGregor

Mcgregor has played well the past couple of games and is a good shot stopper and by all means we could have lost a few more if it hadn't been for him, but Gordon is also a great shot stopper and proved to keep us in alot of games when he has played. The difference for me is Gordon commands his box a...

Still can't get tired of Editors, all three albums are fantastic!
Currently enjoying a bit of The Drums, and a bit of chilled out classic Moby albums Play and 18.

Re: Well Done Levein! Biggest load of Tosh Ever!!!

The teller was LITHUANIA had went to Prague and won? We had beaten them months previously. That had to tell us that we had a chance of getting something at least from the game, if not the win. I agree that 4-5-1 is maybe the best system for Scotland, to shore up at the back and frustrate teams then ...

Lee Bullen as a centre half was worse aswell! The loan signings of Lee Wilkie and Mair were horrendous too!

Baguette Express over Subway anyway, at least you get a fresh baguette!

D'Yoga for a nice evening meal, and you can't really beat Behind The Wall or Orchard for some tasty pub grub!

Re: Merging Clubs

I doubt merging would create bigger clubs. How many extra fans would we get if a "Central Region United" based at Westfield swallowed up the Shire, Stenny, Alloa and Stirling? If you added the combined core support of Forfar, Brechin, Arbroath and Montrose together it wouldn't fill the away end at ...

Re: Yogi spits the dummy

Had any other Falkirk manager had the facilities, new stadium, financial backing that Hughes had? Did they f*ck. Hughes' success looks a lot better than it is. The first league title, was McCall's team that had been put together and were running away with the league well before Hughes, with the hel...

Re: Merging Clubs

I completely back this merging process. Every club has their diehard fans, but what attracts more fans to the football? Entertainment value and success. Merging clubs in some of the ways already listed, expands the fan base, to a big audience, which will fill stadiums, bring more revenue to the club...

Re: Tam Mcmanus Injury

If there's more attractive options available then there should be no reason to keep him. I think he's a decent player but doesn't graft and pressurise defenders as well as the likes of Stewart and Finnigan. The likes of the Hearts game would never have been the same with McManus on the park. Finniga...

Re: Bottle

If your hoping Khalis to be the ace up your sleeve yous are well fooked  You at least need good positional sense, or pace, or good abillity to read the game, Khalis has none of these attributes. Correct. Khalis is pish. Agreed, I hate this full theory that as soon as the midfield looks a lit...

Re: Honest opinion guys

We have the ability to win the league, and are better than any team in the league on our day, but it's simply a matter of whether we can find the consistency and learn from our mistakes. We are unsurprisingly sitting 6 points off the top, which is a little concerning, but we're just finding our feet...

Re: The New Captain?

I think you are all off your heads to suggest Tam Scobbie should be given the captains arm band as he has proved in the seasons run in that he is a very very average to poor player. I would wait and see who we bring in, however, from the players who are in the current squad I would probably go for ...

Re: The New Captain?

Mclean or Arfield out of current squad if both stay. Mclean is fairly experienced and will probably lead our defence next season, or you could give Arfield it in terms of maturing him as a player and really counting on him to take responsibility, i think it could benefit him and the team and may eve...
